Institute of Marine Life Omics Research centers on the important fields, such as the marine environment micro-ecology, biodiversity protection and utilization, mariculture core collection  genomics, exploration and application of bioactive polypeptide, and it takes advantages of cross-omics research and bio-information analysis technologies in big resources and big data, to support the industrialized development of new marine biological resources, build the symbiosis system and evaluate the distribution pattern of microorganisms among global species, and set up the identification and screening methods of genetic resources. The research results will strongly promote and break through the marine biotechnology, and pour into a new vigor for the marine research and industrial transformation.
